Louise Line: Your Healthcare
The Congressional Majority's efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) are now on life-support, but that doesn’t mean our fight is over.
The Majority’s repeal bill has been through multiple reincarnations, each one more devastating than the last. Despite the uncertainty and the partisan spin from conservatives in Washington, I will continue to fight every day in Congress to protect and improve the Affordable Care Act.
I know I’m not alone in being frustrated by the health care debate happening in Washington right now, and I want to hear directly from you. I’ve always said that listening to the people I serve is the single most important part of my job. This is especially true today. Earlier this year, I asked the people of Rochester to submit their stories on how the Affordable Care Act has helped change their lives for the better. I even delivered those stories right to House Speaker Paul Ryan’s door.
I want your thoughts about the latest attempts to repeal the ACA. What do you think Congress’ next steps should be?
I won’t stop fighting attempts strip Americans of the ACA’s benefits and protections, but I need your help. Take my survey here. https://louise.house.gov/your-thoughts-on-healthcare
